Upcoming Adaptive Reuse Event: Building on History – A Summit For Housing Solutions

AXIS Architecture + Design is looking forward to attending and supporting next week’s California Preservation Foundation’s event “Building on History: A Summit for Housing Solutions.”
As part of the event’s programming, panels will discuss the intersection of historic preservation and housing in three areas: adaptive reuse, compatible infill housing, and preserving “naturally occurring affordable housing,” and will examine the important role of historic preservation in developing and preserving housing.
This all-day summit takes place Wednesday, May 29 at the Arizona State University California Center at the Herald Examiner Building. AXIS’ Associate Principal and adaptive reuse expert Roberto Vazquez will be in attendance.
